There are Go clubs close to most train stations. I think almost any place would welcome a child at a reduced playing fee. It would be wise to learn the Japanese character for Go, so as to recognize signs. There are two branches of the Japanese Go Assn in Tokyo. The more modern one is at the Tokyo station. Exit the station at the Yaesu north exit and walk straight out of the station building until you arrive at a fairly large street and cross at a ped crossing that can be found slightly to the left. After crossing, just look for a sign with a Go board. I think it is the 9th floor. Another branch of the JGA is at Ichigaya station, on the JR Sobu (yellow) line that goes east-west through the city. The station has only one exit at a 3way road intersection. Cross the street towards the right and find the Tokyo-Mitsubishi bank at the foot of a narrow street. Go up the street and find the JGA close to the top on the right side. Another good Go club is the Izumi Go Salon at Tokyo station. This is close to the South Yaesu exit and is underground. The underground shopping mall is big, and could be confusing at first.
